Williams awarded Civil Construction contract on new $93 Million Bozeman High School
Williams Civil Construction, of Bozeman, was awarded the Civil Construction contract on the new Westside Bozeman high school. The $93 Million-dollar bond was approved by Bozeman voters in May 2017. Construction is set to begin next month, and the school will open in the Fall of 2020. The 57-acre property borders Durston Road, Flanders Mill Road, West Oak Street, and North Cottonwood Road. The high school is expected to serve 1,500 students.
Initial designs demonstrate the school’s intent to be “CHPS Verified”, per the Collaborative for High Performance Schools. The designation ensures the school is making every effort the promote improved health, productivity/student performance, and decreased operating costs. A few of the CHPS priorities for Gallatin High School include:

- Modern energy efficiency methods
- Minimize indoor water use
